My Own Private Irving
There may have been a breakthrough this weekend.
I don't want to jump the gun and say too much, but yours truly finally saw the the old man's true colors without a hiss.
Now C will probably say it was the yogurt. But old Oy and I know.

Oy, Looks very much like our Frank.

Irving could be a very distant cousin of Frank. There are both after all Jews with family from the old country. Of course, Frank was a Los Angeles Jew and Irving is a Brooklyn (possibly upper East Side) Jew so they would have argued about everything.

There is nothing quite like the relief a boy must feel when a girl's kitty stops hissing, barfing or just plain glaring at him. Bravo, you are making the cut !?

We'll see how the coming days with Irving go. I suggest reading this for further thoughts on the subject.
