Grace
Grace
Tribeca, Manhattan
Last night was my first Grace night in a while. And for good reason because a proper evening in the company of JVG on one side of the bar and JJ on the other means a terribly unproductive next day. All the beer and banter made me lose track of time so I left a bit later than I should have (but nearly as late as I could have.)
And my sweet almost wife (sorry honey!) got to finally see a glimpse of my earlier more decandent days when I got home and then proceeded to spend the remaining hours of the night getting to know the 3rd street bathroom a bit better. I must have inspired Irving because he barfed some lovely new designs on the rug. Fun for everyone!
As far as I know the wedding is still on. And I know that in the future, I must insist that Corie join me on these escapades. So then we can stumble home together, and at least be home by midnight.
Corie: Yes, she should absolutely join the festivities!
Home by midnight: Sorry, not going to work for me. Please reconsider.

Hmm. Well, I am enlightened by the fact that you too have trouble keeping your liquids in after drinking, though it only takes me a few drinks to get to the point, so we'd really be sharing a stomach pump, or staggering home to a hospital. Your almost wife is a lightweight.

It used to not be like that. Really. I must be getting older.
I take it as a good sign that my body was rejecting all that cheer. Shows how little I drink these days, so when I do, it's saying "I don't think so!"

JVG looks like he's in fine form!
