Beautiful and expressive photo. This image remember me a painter that I like very much, Alfredo Volpi (1896-1988). Although he was born in Italy, which he left before he was two years old, Volpi is one of the most important Brazilian artists of the century. Volpi's painting is not like anyone else's in the world. It is sometimes possible to detect a poetic atmosphere not unlike that of the paintings of Paul Klee - but without formal similarities. His paintings can be interpreted figuratively (the "facades", the famous "little flags"), but they are essentially mere structures made up of "line, shape and colour", as he himself always insisted. I will send to you by e-mail, some photos of yours “little flags”. Regards, Sonia.
