Downtown Dallas, TX

What I am learning:

The streets are fairly clean. The city has sanitation division that drives up and down the sidewalks in this little ATV vehicles that scrub the pavement. I'll try to grab a photo if I can.

My apartment is adjacent to a section of town known as the Historic West End. If you enjoy meat or beer, this seems to be a popular destination. Early 20th century warehouses, wedged in between the skyscrapers where people only work and the highways to the suburbs, have been converted from utility to recreation in a seemingly success. It is not my kind of scene (reminds me of a Frat convention), but I am interested in this type of adaptive architecture and city planning. Plus, I have been known to enjoy a good piece of meat or a nice glass of beer. A research trip must be planned.

This cool, grey weather will be replaced soon by very hot weather. Joy.

The people are inside. They come out to go home home and sometimes to feed.
