So Nice

My dear almost-wife visited this weekend and it was wonderful. I wasn't on call and I could actually relax for the first time since my travels began. The weather didn't really cooperate but that made no difference to us. What mattered was that my darling was in my arms.

We checked out some sites, hit the beach during the two hours of sun, and ate some cuban. Of course, the highlight was just being able to see each other, hold each other, and know that life is really only right when we are together.

Now it's back to work for me. Until the next almost-conjugal visit.
