Memphis, TN

Going back to Brooklyn tonight. Thank goodness. I am tired and I miss my almost wife and my fuzzy felines. Of course, the next few months will be wacky with finding a new apartment and the big Lexacor merger. But if I can stay home for more than 6 consecutive days, I will be happy.

Some Stats from the summer:
Best BBQ in Memphis: Cozy Corner -- The pulled pork sandwich is to die for. Ask for spicy.
Best Cuban Coffee in Miami: La Caretta
Most number of consecutive hours working: 40
Number of Crime Scenes in Miami and Memphis documented: 12
Number of English Bookstores in Miami: Zero (There are ones in Coral Gables and Miami Beach, but none in Miami. I found this very odd.)
States I spent more than a couple of days in: Three (Texas, Florida, Tennessee)
Number of Diver Pails drank on Beale Street: One -- shared with eight jolly homicide detectives.
