Blue

So still no cable. Glum.

And at a bit of a loss of what to write about, but here are things that have been on my mind:

Work has been quite interesting of late, but it's really not appropiate subject matter for this site.

The old Red Hook shipyard on Beard street is slowly being demolished. One building closest to Columbia is gone. IKEA is currently getting permits to take down the remaining ones. Whenever I have some time, I walk by and I have to try very hard not to get very sad or very angry. My photos are not doing justice to my feelings. The white stucco and red brick buildings are now wrapped in blue. Clean blue ply. Post no bills here.

But a wedding approaches and then the blue around my heart melts away with the exictement of the approaching celebration. So, here is a question:

Anyone know of any good marching bands in NYC?
