Oh my. What a couple of weeks: Broken toes, root canals, heat waves, and super long days at work. It has been stressful for everyone. Nothing really bad, but just tough.
But there are good days ahead: my favorite season is coming, my new niece or nephew will arrive anyday now, and this weekend Corie and I get to go away to a place with less fur, cleaner air, and the promise of grilled meat. Even if it's only for 48 hours, it will be savored.

I called today for Little Girl II's arrival!
Unfortunately, there might be just as much fur in Saratoga...just more square footage to house it.
